"The very hungry caterpillar" by Eric Carl is the topic of my youngest kids' performance. So we have made some beautiful butterflies. Every single one is original, the room quite messy, I admit! More coming soon!

Thanks for all your support the last weeks and for being so patient while I haven't written much. Here is a lesson idea combining GE picture books, with it's great and useful language, reading, speaking, writing as well as cooperation and team work. It was my first Junior High Class this school year and the kids really loved it. Let me know what you think. Thanks so much for voting the other day. And here is the song in video. It's been taken in a studio in Tokyo. Again, scroll down a bit towards the middle and there is an orange button to vote~this time it will lead them to the top 10 of Thank you~ and I promise to be back very soon with loads of posts on how I am preparing my camp (with a super schedule) and this year's performance, etc. and~here are the English lyrics, as good as I could get them:
Libra C: Blume pOPo My back to the sun, I sneered and said in a flutter fading voice „Let’s leave this town.“ and I started running, throwing the past away Alone in a world, with no place for me. I don’t even give a look at the textbooks, covered with dust. Plucking the screams of my heart. A dream I’ve been dreaming all the time in a dark room. You laugh at me: „No way you can do this!“ Pulling me into a narrow alley. Being pushed by a wet wind. Avowing, but my words don’t reach anyone. Probably I hate it to be alone. Don’t leave me. I just want to talk A landscape through a broken lens Hazy! Just a little bit more. Having only thought blankly about the future, Having a dream is so scary. Just running away from it?! Alone in a world, with no place for me. I don’t even give a look at the textbooks, covered with dust. Plucking the screams of my heart. A dream I’ve been dreaming all the time in a dark room. I sneered, blinking into the sun, I said: „I don’t run away anymore!“ with a resounding voice You looked strained at me, but: I don’t loose. Accept it! Having only thought blankly about the future, Having a dream is so scary. Just running away from it?! Having just been running in circles in this trap of the world. I want to welcome tomorrow without any doubts. Waking up from this dream I have been dreaming all the time. Breaking down the dust covered past with you. Screaming out the sequel of my dream In a room filled with sunshine, you right next to me! |
