Beautiful Japan

A three-day-trip diving into Japan's Beauty.

We were almost without plan.  

The only  time of year, except for New Years, that we have 4 days off together.  

Honestly tired, my husband as well as myself were tempted to stay at home ~thinking and planning a trip itself is tiring.

However, staying at home would mean, a minimum of housework~and even the minimum is with a house and 5 people a full time job.

And, I know myself, I would be spending my time on the computer, working~so;  no way.  We need to get out of here!

The only spot decided on was an art park in Gifu prefecture:


Place of reversible destiny!


If you ever want to experience all of your senses upside down, not knowing how to stand on 2 feet anymore~this is the place to go.  You might get a bit dizzy, so don't try with a full stomach.

Well, from here, there was practically no plan~except for our idea of sleeping in the car and taking it easy.

As Yoro Waterfall was nearby, here we went!

Ogaki, Gifu, Goda Hachiman, Shirakawa Worldheritage, Hida Furukawa, Hida Takayama, Fukui Prefecture (Ono and Ichijo)

I think, because we had no 'goal' or appointment, for the first time in many years, I was able to see and sense so many things~.

Why do I write this all here, on my English blog?   Maybe I can show you a bit how beautiful Japan is, and give you an idea where to go to or where to put your eye on.

What is beauty any way?
I think there is the beauty of nature,  rare~stars, flowers, the magic of snow...and of course there is loads of this kind of beauty in Japan.  

However, what impressed me most this time was the 'beauty in every day life';
